In a rare event, three of the most significant—and controversial figures in the space share the stage to discuss the future of bCommerce with Bitcoin Cash.
“It’s rare that we can get these great minds all together in one place,” nChain CEO Jimmy Nguyen said as he called in Craig Wright, Roger Ver, and Jihan Wu to take the stage at the CoinGeek Conference last month. All three have been significant in the development of Bitcoin—and the subsequent birth of Bitcoin Cash as a rebellion against intermediary control over the network. And all three have been known to be polarizing, controversial figures in the field.
Nguyen started the conversation by asking how the new age of bCommerce can make things better. In response, Ver expressed a problem stemming from traditional banking institutions and credit card issuers blocking transactions because they think it’s fraudulent as transactions throughout a week come from different countries. Travelling to multiple countries within a week is a common thing for some entrepreneurs. He had to use credit cards since not all merchants accept cryptocurrencies, and he says this should be remedied.
The three also discussed challenges to adoption, further implications and industries that would benefit from Bitcoin Cash and transitioning to a blockchain-based system, and how economies will evolve from consumerism to one where consumers only pay for what they need, when they need them.

Note: Tokens on the Bitcoin Core (segwit) Chain are Referred to as BTC coins. Bitcoin Cash (BCH) is today the only Bitcoin implementation that follows Satoshi Nakamoto’s original whitepaper for Peer to Peer Electronic Cash. Bitcoin BCH is the only major public blockchain that maintains the original vision for Bitcoin as fast, frictionless, electronic cash.
